Dubai is a city of skyscrapers and has a long list of tall buildings with Burj Khalifa being the tallest building in the world with its remarkable height of 829.84m (2723 feet). And now locally based developer Tameer has announced that Dubai is ready to embrace another crown with the opening of the world’s tallest residential tower “The Princess Tower” next year. With its 107 storeys and a boastful height of 414 meters the Princess Tower is bound to dwarf all other Dubai’s residential towers but not for too long. Upon its completion the Princess Tower will boast the most expensive Dubai apartments in the world. The building subtly portrays the rich Arabic tradition blended with modernity. The ground floor or the Entrance Hall of the building will be covered with white gold and supplemented with diamonds, opals, rubies, sapphires and crystals
Another giant tower “Pentominium Tower” is all set to dominate the city of Dubai with its overwhelming height of 550 m with 122 floors above the ground. Funded by Trident International Holdings the tower’s architectural design was done by Aedas. Swissboring Overseas Piling Corp has done one of the deepest excavation of the world. When completed in 2013, the Pentominium will become the second tallest building in Dubai after Burj Khalifa, and one of the tallest residential building in the world. It's Dubai furnished apartments will offer convenience and comfort of high quality.
But many people are of the opinion that being tall is not all. What do you think?
